Actually, they won a majority of their duels, on or off screen. If they lost, it'd usually be on screen, but they're usually dueling prodigies. Yuuma is a complete newb, and loses every time it doesn't really count. That's one of the things I like and hate about him.

I agree! I've always said that I like the fact Yuuma's character isn't clutch. Meaning I feel partially every duel is a make it or break it situation, so you feel on edge. Will he win it or lose it sort of deal. Though with a character for example like Yusei, his situations I felt were more dire and so he had to win at all cost. With a few exceptions here and there of course for the sake of plot.

Even though I really liked 5ds, it's refreshing to see the main character loose every once in awhile. But I agree, the fact that Yuuma was SUCH a newb made the duels a little bit boring for me...

Of course, I haven't seen Zexal since episode 4 or so, so for all I know that's changed.

Kid has so many situational cards that it's hard to believe how his father is such a good duelist with that deck.

And are we even supposed to like this Tetsuo fat kid? They're not doing a good job. He brag about beating Yuma AGAIN in this episode. >_> Not to mention what he did that result in Yuma being late in the first place... So how does Yuma keep that jerkass around as a friend?

Zexal feels so slow in its plot and we're going through so much fillers.

they won the case and are dubbing zexal. it's a sad world we live in to allow 4kids to continue their destruction on anime.

Actually, they ordered a hold on the license. The case is not done yet, but they are allowed to use the property until the case is over. This is still unfortunate, as we will either have a 4kids dub of it, or a a few episodes of a 4kids dub and then waiting on a new dub.
