Your Favorite Avatars.

Wouldn't say it was a "shot" per se as much as, while each has their subtle and intimate differences, all Sentai does fall under and fulfill a certain stereotype.

True, however the way you made a reference previous was a ninja avatar in a general sense as saying "All ninjas are uber cool" merely because of the ninja stereotype, which i don't agree with. If you had perhaps referenced a ninja like "Ryu Hayabusa" of Ninja Gaiden fame, then it wouldn't be so stereotype oriented but rather, a direct character reference. Even Hanzo of Samurai Showdown fame would've been fine.

The act of finding a general thing cool is fun.

Thus all things ninja - REAL ULTIMATE POWER

Looking closer isn't as fun, cuz well... Ninja Storm, American Ninja, Surf Ninjas... and so forth.

Just having fun with a concept.

If I wanna get all intellectual 'n stuff then yeah, there are specific ninjas dig, like Strider, Ryu, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Archetypes can be cool. Must like this guy...

I don't know his story, but damned if I don't like his design.

It's just taking a step back and liking something in general for the fun of it. Like... I like nice sunny days like I like ninjas.

*I just wanted to use the quote...LMAO*

I like my avatar. It's not the best looking or the most animated, but it's cool and I've used it for 6+ years.

Simple, yet good and even grand for keeping it for a good 6 years.

Ironically, most people have no idea what real ninjas were like. Really, they weren't cool at all...

He's right, they weren't. I saw Batman Begins and that was all about how evil ninjas wanted to destroy Gotham City. That is totally not cool. That movie was "realistic" so clearly it had an accurate representation of what ninjas are truly like.

Yeah it has been said real ninjas were just regular peasants that would only really protect their own village. Their waistband that they'd use to wipe their hands were what they used for a mask to protect themselves from being caught. No other special gear/outfits. The whole black garb is originated from Japanese theatre, stage hands would be in complete black to symbolize they didn't exist. More realistic colors to blend in would be more of a dark brown.

Well, that's how ninjas were after Oda's near-decimation of them, but traditionally ninjas were hired to assassinate and steal from high ranking government officials, but they were basically lowlifes who would murder anyone (man, woman, or child) for the right price and relied on lying, cheating, or stealing to win worse than Eddie Guerrero could ever dream. They did wear black though, but part of the reason was because black dye was extremely cheap. Mountainous ninjas would wear brown for foliage or white for snow. Basically, they were well trained immoral sociopathic penny-hugging bastards. Haha. After the slaying of thousands of ninja and the outlawing of the practice, a lot of ninjas took the more romantic route and became Robin Hood types (like Inoue Sasuke and most of the Iga ninjas), or worked for the good of the government, but there was so little a demand for ninjas that they gradually just faded from the spotlight (no pun intended). There are several masters today (Like Stephen Hayes and Todoki Yoshimura, and er... Tadashi Yamashita, if you want to count him), but the only living Ninjutsu-ryu grandmaster today is Masaaki Hatsumi, PhD.

lmao. I've missed you, Master P. *bows*
