Xbox Live Question

Ok so I got finally hooked up to go on Live, which I did on Thrusday. Pretty cool so far.

What I was wondering can you send people files(stuff off your memory card or hard drive) and stuff?

I do not believe so.
But then I dont work for Microsoft, so I'm not 100% sure.

Halo 3 has a file share for that specific purpose. I'm fairly certain that there's someway to send files over live, based on the guy who got banned until the year 10000 for downloading and uploading Halo 3 Sigma.
