XBOX 360 Achievements

Do you like the whole achieventment thing. Like tonight I got on Live and played Guitar Hero 3 for the first time and the guy I played against quit for some unknown reason on easy.

And I got this achieventment

Meet Your Maker(i read that you get this when you beat one the Guitar Hero 3at their own game) Is this true

So far I only got 71 or 72 achieventments(for all my games total)

How many achieventments do you have?

I love the achievement system. It makes games have more replay value than they normally would.

I've got... 3450 Gamer Points. I beat a lot of games so I have a metric buttlaod of achievements.

Achievements are addicting, however online achievements suck. People tend to boost, thus ruining everyone else's fun. Achievements should be for single-player modes, in my opinion.

I'm a fan of achievement points. In the grand scheme of things, they're meaningless but they can serve as that extra little incentive to squeeze more out of my games. It used to be that I would just try to finish a game and once I did that, that was that. Achievements give me an excuse to play these games again, so I get that extra sense of accomplishment and I feel like I got more value out of the game.

To date, I've only managed to get the full 1,000 points on one game. "Ninety-Nine Nights". It's not a deep game by any means and normally could be beaten in an afternoon. Thanks to trying to get the achievements, I must have put in about 30 hours. That's a lot of extra gameplay that I wouldn't have have got out of it otherwise.

I've only completed two games in terms of achievements: Fight Night Round 3 and Galaga.

I'm so bad, haha. Although I'm very close to getting all the Halo 3 achievements.
