Alright I am in the final stage of the story mode for raw against HHH in a Iron Man Match. Anyone have tips for me beating this guy? I am at the point of throwing my controller through the tv set. I need to beat this fucking game before Wrestlemania 21 comes out for Xbox next week.

I hated this game so much that after completing it once, I took the game back for a refund.

So I finally defeated HHH in the Iron Man Match 2-0.

The ending was alright, my wrestler holding the World Heavyweight title. It also unlocked 2 special enterence choices for Undertaker including his bike or Austin's ATV and the final hidden wrestler, Canada's own Bret "Hitman" Hart.

Now, My only question is should I even both to do the Smack Down! Story Mode or is it pretty much the same **** as the Raw one except different wrestlers? will it unlock anything new for me or just add extra playing time on the game?.

I'm really pumped for Mania 21. I think my brother even has Xbox Live so anyone else who has it we can tag team sometime and kick some bitches asses.


Also, I own Wrestlemania X-8 and I love it still. This game here was alright but the thing that fucking ruined it was the control system. The controls were fucking brutal especially if your wrestler gets his once and he is in a fucking coma. I hate **** like that. Hopefully mania 21's wont have a **** ass momentum system like this **** did. I wont be returning mine, it's still fun to play exhibition mode especially now with the Hitman.

You shouldn't bother with Smackdown... unless you really want to be able to say that you've played through both brands. The bulk of the reason why I got a refund was simply because there was nothing different in the storylines. As you've said, it really is a case of "Same ****, different day."

Even the dialogue is more or less exactly the same. I don't know if it would unlock anything different... but I just couldn't stand to play exactly the same game; especially one as annoying as this.

I loved Day of Reckoning. The story is cool when you play with the right custom characters.

I did both brands and the storyline the same for both. If you think Triple H was hard, Taker was freakin hard. It took me six times before I beat him.

I hope WM21 for Xbox is up to par. RAW 2 was bleh. The Smackdown series on PS2 owns all.
