I'm restarting the story mode with a new wrestler. I'm going to make different decisions throughout the game to see if anything changes. I also think you get massive $$$ and points for beating it a second time. I know in DoR 1 that is what happend.
I still have to unlock Bret Hart. Play 20 1-on-1 exhibition matches in a row and win.

To confirm, YES making different descisions the 2nd time you play story mode changes many matches for u'r wrestler. I just defeated the 4 way cage match for the IC title but there were a few different matches along the way because I decided not to go after Edge and went straight for the IC title/Christian.

Question: I've played at least 6 matches in a row, all exhibition. Does time matter? Because I haven't gotten Austin yet. WTF? oO;

to unlock Mankind beat 5 exhibition games
to unlock Rock beat 8 story mode levels
to unlock Austin beat 10 exhibition games
to unlock Hitman beat 20 exhibition games
to unlock Hogan beat story mode
BUT... I unlocked Mankind and Austin by saving up alot of $$$$ and they just appeared. So there is two ways of doing it.
GreatD, CAW is pretty good actually. This is my first time actually creating my own character with all the moves and other things I've wanted so I cannot really compare it to the other wrestling games.

Yeah, it's basically just like Day of Reckoning 1's CAW, only some added stuff. Like the Pyros, you've got Chris Master's pyro and cool stuff like that. 
Also, the lightings have added more realism. There's an extra layer of glow when you preview the lights. It's really cool, and very realistic. ^^
