I like my Wushu...

The world needs more "Wushu" movies. Even after the advent of all the "Wu Pia" like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon...there's not really any movies that deal with contemporary Wushu and Sanda.

I just hope this movie doesn't display it in a "Bring it on" kinda way...:redface2:

But still, lookin' forward to it.

Yeah, I saw this article just last night! Looks like a really interesting premise; I hope it turns out alright, but the little trailer on the bottom looks a bit amateurish...the end product will hopefully be better!

That's because they're fairly mundane sports on their own... I'm not writing it off altogether but the purpose of an un-Bring-It-On-like Wushu movie is puzzling.

...Unless it's done documentary style. Prehaps in the way somethin' like "Hoop Dreams" was done. I still think that a documentary would be better than an actual movie, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the Wushu and Sanda are gonna be portrayed in this along with the actual story.

Someone actually was making a Wushu documentary awhile ago, but I haven't seen a final cut of it anywhere. You can see a clip of it here.

Well it better have plenty of colorful shiney uniforms and fancy choreographed dance routines or I'm gonna be pissed.
