World Cup 2010 in South Africa

Damn, England gets Germany in the Round of 16 .... it should be a cracker though :anime:
An old enemy. England didn't play well in the first two games, but Germany? That's all the motivation we'll need!

Also, Italy's out! France has already gone too... this tournament is really crazy, anyone could end up winning it.

I really do love it when a lot of non traditional teams can make it into the second round, we've already got two strong Asian teams and a decent African team here, so it should be a good tournament.

Honda and Endo rocked, but Ozaki was the MVP since he made the last one, considering 2010 was his debut.

And yeah, the Danish team seemed to be more and more aggressive after Japan made the first 2 shots via free kicks. Nicely done too. :castlerock:

England have been pure crap. The last game was praised too, but I think they were a bit lazy. Once they scored the first goal they didn't make much of an attempt to score anymore. There were so many opportunities they could have taken in that game that were ruined by them passing to someone who was virtually next to them.

Yeah, it's interesting this year, but that's usually when it's best.

I think Honda was the top man of the game, he made a great goal and an amazing set up with that third one to Ozaki, who still did great for his first World Cup, though the Endou goal was my favorite, it was just amazing.

And! Now that stuff has been getting WTFy, I present:

Mexico getting through might be a little insanely optimistic on my part, but I don't think Argentina would survive Germany, so in the end, it doesn't matter

Looks like the French team is in trouble with their countrymen due to their game against South Africa.

Latest is that Sony France made an ad, dissing them.

The moment the Denmark team lose their cool, they more or less sealed their own fate. They didn't even manage to get one ball in by themselves and had to rely on the penalty kick.

But it's real funny seeing Eiji pounding the ground after he lost the goal.
