I liked Wonder Man because it was different from typical superhero shows. I didn’t expect to care about Hollywood politics, but Simon’s struggles were funny and sometimes sad. Season Two could be a risk because the story might shift into full superhero mode, which could make it less enjoyable. Still, the first season showed the writers can handle character-driven stories. I hope they focus on Simon and Trevor’s relationship and keep the clever dialogue. If they can do that, it could be just as good as the first season, even if the stakes are higher.
