I don't get it why guys are watching poor girl get beaten by teenagers! I mean, come on! She's an adult and they're the children who beaten the holy hell out of her, that doesn't make sense to me!

Again, I don't know the whole situation, but if she is transgender as some reports have claimed, I imagine that was the reason they just stood back and watched. That or they just thought it was funny to see girls fighting. :nono:

Transgender or not, the employees STILL should have helped the woman and held the two girls until the police arrived. It pisses me off knowing that people just stand around when another person is getting ganged up on, and the jackass recording should've just shut up.

I mean C'MON PEOPLE, use some common sence, jeez

The McDonald’s employee who stood by and videotaped the beating of a patron at a Maryland restaurant has been fired, according to a statement released this afternoon by the franchise owner.

Vernon Hackett, 22, was canned in the face of a torrent of publicity about the brutal April 18 attack, which Hackett filmed on a cell phone and uploaded to his YouTube channel. The video has prompted widespread criticism of McDonald’s workers who did little to help the victim, a 22-year-old transgendered woman.

Mitchell McPherson, owner of the suburban Baltimore McDonald’s where the beating occurred, said today that, “the crew member who made the video is no longer employed with my organization.†He added, “Appropriate action regarding other employees will take place as warranted.â€

It happened a few months. I think it was on a weekend night and they decided to do it for kicks and laughs because the guy was a bit crazy in the head and was asking for money to buy a whopper. They didn't do any physical harm but it was still kind of messed up. Once I saw the vid on Facebook I automatically unfriended them.
