I just heard that there is going to be a live-action Witchblade movie, which is in pre-production right now and is planned to be released in 2009.

So for those who are fans of the original comic book, the manga, or even the tv series, watch out for this film next year!

Witchblade 2009 New Poster

I can already hear them, the people claiming Witchblade is an Original Japanese anime and Hollywood should stay away from anime.

All I know about WItchblade is from some spoof crossover Image did years back, the old Moore Action Collectibles figures, and the few eps I saw of the LA TV series (I don't remember much but I'm getting the DVD when they come out though).

It's a comic book movie so I'm looking forward to it:thumbs: .
