That's the one (really only) complaint I always I hear about TVNs subs from the older guys on Generation Kikaida.

you know i uploaded every HK ep of Ryuki in the DL section i know the subs arnt perfect but there better than nothing

UGH! HK Subs! God I don't know how you guys can stand them, much less advertise you upload them. I know it's all you guys got for now but I'd rather wait the length of time it takes for TVN to sub it or somebody else to sub it than to watch the attrocities of HK subs. Besides I can't stand watching them knowing that they were originally sold for profit.

Well realistically, I doubt Tv-N will ever finish subbing Ryuki. As far as I understand it, it's a dead project for them. As there are no other groups subbing ryuki, hk-subs are the only option.
It being the only new gen series (other than Kuuga) that isn't yet fansubbed in it's entirity leaves alot of impatient fans hungry to get their ryuki going on.
Anywho, I watched them and they're better than most HK's I've seen. The translation is fine, but the names are differen't. I referenceed everything with the wikipedia article to get the right names and it was fine.

You may rather wait years, but I know I don't want to -- I don't really have the time to sit and wait. I may not like HK subs, I may loathe the quality, the subs may make me cringe, but if it's the only option then yes I'm going to watch them.
It's as simple as that. I'll watch what's available. I'll torrent and watch the first 6 eps subbed by TV-N, sure, but after that all I've got is HK.

Well HK subs aren't inaccurate as people, think, its usually just name changes that are the biggest problems. Many people think that these HK subbers "can't speak english for ****", which is not true, they are intentional name changes :redface2:, because it's bootlegged, I actually understand how bootlegging movies work, because I have a friend that knows the bootlegging world :redface2:. Why the name changes? well its basically their way of putting their own tags on the video.
And just letting everyone know, I don't think the Ryuki subs are HK subs, but more like Korean subs, I quote from the 13 rider's special "You don't like Korea?" and Janse is a korean name, but thats besides the point. Me personally, I'll watch a few specials in Korean subs, but I prefer to watch the RAWs for most of the series. But I will not accept Cantonese/Mandarin dubs >.<

I'd be all okay with watching raws if I could get the full experience, but when I don't understand Japanese that's a little difficult to do.
