Why is Saban 'not legally allowed' to skip a Sentai series?

Collectibles don't seem to be that big in the USA though. They aren't even going to release all (Power) Ranger Keys apparently (for the adapted shows, I mean, of course). The USA children toy market is also much more interested in action figures than the Japanese one, although this also benefits Kyoryuger/Dino Charge due to having footage for 11 Rangers.

That's true, but I still think Dino Charge will probably sell better than a straight Go-Busters adaptation would have just because there are more heroes and a bigger toyline (and kids the world over love dinosaurs)

Before they skipped Takumi Gobusters, they skipped Gosei Sentai Dairanger, but not completely they used the zords and the kibaranger suit.

Technically, they didn't skip Dairanger since they used the zords, Kibaranger suit, some episodes, and monsters that was in that series. They didn't use the original Dairanger suits and that was about it.

Wasn't the reason why they didn't use the Dairanger suits was because the Dairanger footage had like drunk fist-fighting and a completely new martial arts/fighting choreography rhythm to it compared to Zyuranger?

Nah, it was just because the franchise was still new and they didn't think kids could handle the idea of changing cast every year or changing suits all the time. They didn't want the brand identity to be lost in the shuffle.

Off course now no one recognizes anything but the MMPR suits :shakefist

I thought that Saban skipped Go-Busters because adapting Kyoryugers will be perfect for the anniversary of their franchise. Maybe they'll adapt Go-Busters after Kyoryugers, or the anniversary itself is a great excuse to let them skip Go-Busters.

I thought their anniversary was last year.

MMPR's 20th anniversary was last year. Having Megaforce as the 20th season kinda depends on how you count things (don't count Alien Rangers or Super Samurai as individual seasons, but DO count the re-versioned MMPR, and Megaforce comes out as season 20 with Super Megaforce being, erm, 20b?). I don't think they can call Dino Charge an anniversary in any way, especially seeing as it won't arrive until next year.

As for why they skipped Go-Busters, the two most popular theories tend to be that either Bandai wanted them to jump straight to a series that has had extremely good toy sales in Japan, or that Saban wanted to take advantage of the dinsaur theme as a throwback, given that Megaforce/Super Megaforce have been using callbacks and the MMPR rangers have been very prominant in the anniversary promotion.

One of the reasons really. People were complaining about the "violence" in the show as well, so having sticks, spears, drunken fighting and other things would have not helped its situation. Look at how they reacted with Zedd, and imagine Dairanger was used as well. [I mean aside from the obviously-to-be-cut hits in the groin]

It would fit with a darker story.

The Dairanger suits would not work anyways. Kids will be like "The dinosaur suits were so much cooler" and "What happen to the old suits?". The Dairanger suits would have hurt ratings and toy sales.
