Why does no one discuss older sentai anymore?

Heh you summed it up for me But yeah, I enjoy most sentai. But this year, go-onger... I just feel let down by. It's awful. I have been watching Goranger, JAKQ, and Flashman this week... They are wonderful. I miss those days.

I don't really discuss shows I watch on forums, cuz I normally watch them way after others do, and the things I'd talk about have already been mentioned multiple times. So anything I'd have to say would seem redundant.

But about older Sentai. I like Sentai from basically any era. Throw just about any Toku at me and I'll enjoy it, subbed or raw. I may be part of the minority, but whatever. I appreciate the older stuff... cuz without it, we wouldn't be watching the stuff that airs these days, ya know?

Yeah that's how it should be, but as I and others have seen, a lot of people will not watch toku with out subs.

Another thing I dislike bout newer stuff-the theme songs are never done by anyone good anymore. I want another theme by KAGE, Miyauchi, MOJO, or Mizuki. None of this Psychic lover stuff.

I'm 15, but watch a variety of toku, and feel the 80s was Toku's Golden Age.
I'm not older like ryuseipro, I just prefer older stuff.

Yeah. The excuse used to be "But the older stuff isn't subbed." But, older stuff gradually is subtitled, and then it became "The old shows are too dated, I can't watch them!"

:redface2: :redface2: :redface2: Annoying how some sentai "fans" call the old stuff cheesy, etc...when they have stuff like Precious in Magiranger(that whole series was written by someone who probably watched My Little Pony and Carebears only) and that acorn thing in Gingaman(which i thought was a good series, just not a good concept), both of which are 10 times more "cheesy"(I hate using that term) than anmy 80s or 70s stuff.

This I disagree with you on. I love Psychic lover. Their song was the best part about Dekaranger. Just be careful the next. Just as some people can say all old stuff sucks, we can fall into saying all new stuff sucks, and that would make us just as wrong.
