This I disagree with you on. I love Psychic lover. Their song was the best part about Dekaranger. Just be careful the next. Just as some people can say all old stuff sucks, we can fall into saying all new stuff sucks, and that would make us just as wrong.

:redface2: :redface2: :redface2: Annoying how some sentai "fans" call the old stuff cheesy, etc...when they have stuff like Precious in Magiranger(that whole series was written by someone who probably watched My Little Pony and Carebears only) and that acorn thing in Gingaman(which i thought was a good series, just not a good concept), both of which are 10 times more "cheesy"(I hate using that term) than anmy 80s or 70s stuff.

Now I completely disagree with you on some stuff here. First it was not Magiranger that has Precious that as Boukenger. You really should know about the shows if you want to critique them.

Second, You are now doing what I suggested. You are just calling all new things bad for the sake of calling them bad. I mean how do you know what Magiranger even is if you confuse it with Boukenger. The two shows are totally different in their approaches and style. I will admit I prefer some of the older stuff more, but Magiranger is one of the single best sentai's since the early 90's. Another thing, what's wrong with Carebears and My little pony? Both were great 80's toons.

What was wrong with the gingaman concept? It was about mythic powers being used to protect the galaxy. Sure it had some issues, but it was very good. And you really can't insult the nut when older sentai's had talking dogs, and robots that looked like talking toasters.

Why can't he say his opinion on sentai and the state of it? He has every right to.

I'm commenting on the title of this thread. I felt he basically threw a bunch of us who love all Tokusatsu into the same category as those who only watch the newer subbed stuff.

The Search option is very friendly and had he searched up some series' titles he would have found that there is ALOT of chat going on about classic Tokusatsu, maybe not this month or last... but throughout HJU's run there has been a ton. Trust me.

The 1980s is the glorious decade of Super Sentai but you have to consider the fact that the 2 best sentai ever, Magiranger and Timeranger, do not belong in that time. How about the 1990s? There are only 2 or 3 sentai which can match up to the quality of the 80s sentai and they're Jetman, Carranger, and Fiveman. Not all new sentai shows are bad, or mediocre, to say the least. Don't forget that the current decade featured the most powerful sentai ever in Magiranger and the best pair of sentai villains since Nagare Boma Yamimaru and Kirika in Kurojishi Rio and Mere-san of Gekiranger.

You thought Boukenger was magiranger. How can you think something is trash when you don't even know the difference between the two shows?

Do you understand the difference between fact and opinion? Everything you said is opinion. You should claim fact on something when it's not.

It's probably not the smartest idea to come in here and call newer seasons trash. People have different tastes. Alot of the stuff from older Sentai just doesn't appeal to most new people of the fandom. Newer fans shouldn't have shows they liked put down just because you feel the older shows are better.

And if you really want to talk about older sentai I know there are plenty of people here who would gladly discuss such things with you. There's alot of great fans on this board,and there not hard to find.
