Why do girls love Twilight?

Since there might not be any copies of the top three movies in my Netflix queue available for them to send to me, I decided to put Twilight in there so I'll have something to watch. I've been told more things about this movie that are over the top, and I've just go to see for myself how silly the story is. If they have to send that to me, I should get it on Thursday. So, just wish me luck guys, and pray for me that I get through this movie okay.

Well, seeing as your first mistake was picking Twilight in the first place, make sure you don't watch it around any dumb girls. EVER.

You'll be able to tell because they're wearing Twilight or say something good about it, etc.

keith is far from as uptight as half the mods on this site are, and not even gonna waste my finger strength and give anyone the pleasure of bitching and moaning. and it's not a damn slur, i know what real slurs are.

i'm outta here.

Calling some one a "faggot" isn't a slur? What planet do you live on?

Wonder if anyone'll get trampled on, trying to get seats for the movie? I can picture opening night being quite the mess. :redface2:

Like I said, I'm only watching this out of morbid curiosity. Plus I've got this co-worker who says I must see this movie, and she thinks I ought to like it because I'm a Harry Potter fan. Perhaps I could use a laugh. Also, I'll just be watching this myself.

I wanted Netflix to ship me three other titles, and I had three titles out last week that I mailed back last Friday, and I didn't know that they started shipping on Saturdays. The top three movies in my queue were to be released yesterday, so I thought that they'd ship them out on Monday when they got the three titles I mailed back. Instead, I got some others.

I believe I said something about the movie in a previous post and how I didn't really like it, but it had potential. Well, I've been reading the 2nd, 3rd, and now the 4th book, and I must say it is pretty good. It's well written and keeps surprising me, the dialogue between the characters is often funny and makes me laugh out loud sometimes, and I personally can't wait to see what happens at the very end. At least half a dozen people at my office has read at least one of the books, and they all say I'm the only guy they've seen reading them. But I like soap operas also, so there you go :coolshades:

I watched the Twilight movie last night.

I'll have to be honest though. The movie was so-so, and I didn't find it so difficult to watch, but I can see why people would be put off by it. The part where Edward tells Bella that he likes to watch her sleep? Yeah, that just...doesn't sound right. That doesn't sound like something you say to a self-respecting female and not expect her to either be creeped out by you or slap you. Also, I'm not sure what to think about Bella not having any qualms about being a vampire just to be with this dude.

So all in all, it didn't convert me into a fan, and I'm not compelled to read the books or see the rest of the movies.

Well...written...?
