Why are PS3 fanboys so annoying & pathetic?

Noooooo, don't blow into the cartridges! That's why the games don't start up well! Just clean them with rubbing alcohol, and they'll be good. Then again, if you've been blowing into the carts to get them to work, chances are the 72-pin connector inside the system needs replaced too. D: I had to do that to mine, and it plays as well as I figure it did new.

I never knew that about blowing into the cartridges.

I have done the rubbing alcohol and Q-Tip method before,and that seems to work.

Come to think of it, there are even those PS3 fanboys that want MS to fail so badly, or don't want them around in the gaming industry. PS3 owners better be thankful that MS didn't just leave from the gaming industry after the original Xbox, because come to think of it, without them around to have direct competition against the PS3 (in which Nintendo is going their own way with the Wii), the PS3 probably would've been a lot more expensive than $600, there would be no innovation, & I doubt that we would've seen a lot of games that we currently have from 3rd parties (there would be very less games from them; due to higher development costs from PS3), plus I seriously doubt that Sony would've put out all of those exclusives that the PS3 fans are now getting.

That's just something to think about. Competition is always needed.

But it was a long time ago and M$ did eventually send me a refurbished one, but I was not happy during those long weeks of waiting.

I'm not a fanboy, I just try to get the 'best version' of a game. So if a game is better on the Xbox360, I'll pick up the Xbox version, etc.

If they're close, I do seem to favour PS3 a bit more as online gaming is free on PS3.

I personally don't like it when fanboys bitch about graphics, like when people say "aw the graphics suck on that game", it really bothers me because I don't care about the graphics at all. I enjoy Pong equally as much as I enjoy Tomb Raider: Underworld. The only thing I ever care about is Playability and Story. Sometimes games can have near perfect graphics, but have no playablity whatsoever. But there are games, like Tron: Evolution, that have OK graphics but are very fun to play with. So no, I don't like graphics bitching.

I was talking about GTA4 the other day and a guy said this about GTA4. "Yeah that game sucks the graphics are so dated."

I had to laugh my ass off. Anyone that thinks a game that is just under 3 years old has "dated graphics", and uses that to bash the game.. Wow... HAH. I guess the game I bought new 3 days ago is now dated right?

If you want to call a game's graphics dated, you gotta go back a bit farther. Its even kind of a stretch to call launch games of PS3 and Xbox 360 dated. I mean, compared to games today, games like Resistance: Fall of Man and Need for Speed: Most wanted (was gonna say Perfect Dark Zero, but that game is just.....yeh), can still be considered great looking. They'd probably just need some touch ups and a few tweaks to make them look comparable nowadays. Go back to games at the end of the last gen cycle to call game graphics outdated.

Ill admit that I still argue with a friend of mine about PS3 and Xbox360, but mostly because I know how much it agitates him and its fun to watch. But I honestly dont care anymore. I made my choice with the PS3 because of the games that were coming out for it, and I am happy with my decision. If i want to play some 360 games, I go to a friends house and I have fun with that console too. Its all about the games at the end. There really is no point to the console arguments anymore.
