Which anime has the best character development over multiple seasons?

I'm on the lookout for anime that really excels in character development, especially those that span multiple seasons. I've seen shows like "Attack on Titan" and "My Hero Academia" get a lot of praise, but I'm curious about others that might often fly under the radar or deliver strong growth arcs. What would you recommend for someone who enjoys a deep, evolving story?

If you're looking for anime with exceptional character development over multiple seasons, I'd highly recommend "Steins;Gate." The way it explores its cast through time travel and personal struggles is incredibly engaging. Also, "Naruto" might be a bit mainstream, but it's hard to argue against the depth of character arcs, especially with Naruto and Sasuke's evolving relationship over the years.

Another one that doesn't get as much attention is "March Comes in Like a Lion." It beautifully captures the growth of its characters through themes of depression and resilience. Have you checked out any of these, or do you have other favorites with strong character arcs?
