FF13 What would you change in FFXIII

Final Fantasy XIII (2009): Six strangers branded as l’Cie must defy fate or doom their world. It focused on fast-paced Paradigm Shift combat and a highly linear narrative structure. AKA Final Fantasy 13, FF13, FFXIII
I think there are very less things to change too. The way it was designed at that time. I guess it was meant to be like that. I don't think a lot of old games can be remade. It's just not that easy anymore.
The developers did something special with FFXIII. Like most games though, it still had its flaws and given a choice, I would up the graphics and give the user more control of the characters. Like I said, the game is all good until you get halfway through the plot. The plot gets thinner and from there the gamer has little character control. It now becomes somewhat of a fixed plot. These two minor changes are the recipe to a perfect game.

Usually, one smaller fraction of a development team is dedicated to releasing updates for the most recently released title (though they do sometimes update older games well, it usually depends on popularity and how old they are), while the bigger fraction begins work on either an expansion or a new game. It sucks when they leave bugs in the game - and they do it all too often these days, but I've yet to hear of anyone outsourcing updating/patching work, and it would be a pointless waste of money from my point of view at least.

That's true. I guess they don't have time to do this since they got to focus on new games!

They SHOULD find the time to do it though, I'm not making excuses for anyone. It seems most developers these days leave it upon community to fix their broken games instead of doing it themselves, unless it's a popular MP/MMORPG game then they are happy to support them as long as they bring in profits.

Just 10 years ago, most games were stable out-of-the-box, and patching was rarely even necessary. These days, game-breaking bugs are very common, and the way things are goings, they'll soon be considered features instead of bugs :D

The thing I didn't like about the game is that the combat was borning and there were way too many battles. Don't get me wrong I like battles but for me, it seemed like the extra battles were a filler where the story was lacking. I never finished it, because I got bored of it each time that I played it.
