What if FF series is abolished?

I don't think this can be happening soon, because there's a lot of fans and lovers of FF, but in that terrible case, I will still keep playing it. Being a fan since like always, and there's still a lot to learn about the saga.

You are absolutely right in saying this. Final Fantasy games seriously have a huge fan base and I seriously doubt if they are quitting on the game anytime soon because the game still rocks 100%.

The developers as well are making a huge ton of money off the game, so I strongly doubt if they are willing to shut down an investment that's yielding them millions of dollars.

Haha... well said! As long as the developers are making big money with the game, you can be sure it will stay for long time. You have to be insane to stop adding more chapters to the saga right? I mean, there must be at least 2 generations playing FF, so you have double amount of people investing on it.

FF series of games or any other type of games may be abolished permanently or temporarily, though people who love it may still have copies of these series kept in the house and may play them anytime they wish. Other series of games are out there for whoever loves games and there are no limits to specific types of such games in the game market.

Considering it is being ported to multiple platforms. And the series being one of the profitable so far. I don't see that is happening any time soon. In fact I'd say there would be more lineup coming in this case. And the amount of effort taken for such series to work out. I am sure it'd be something that may change as well. I guess we just have to find that part out in that case.

There are rumors that FF XVI is already being worked on, apparently it's going to be open world again. FFXV has obviously been profitable and the series has a big fanbase, so I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't make another FF.

Exactly what I had in mind and I actually think I said it before, Final Fantasy XV is almost a flawless game, it got several new fans into playing the RPG game of FF series and the developers are making millions of profits off the game without breaking any sweat, so just waking up one day and pulling the plug on the game is practically impossible and not going to happen at least not anytime soon.

Well if you are profitable and you have that fan base, you can probably assume it is somewhat of a safe bet. I would imagine as long as money is being made nobody will really be looking to stop.

FF series may be abolished at anytime, but there are always times when this occurs unexpectedly. This is the reason most people prefer to admire multiple games and they wouldn't mind at all when any game is abolished. As games are being abolished, hundreds of other games are being launched daily. So, everybody has alternatives to FF series even if it's eventually abolished.

All great things eventually come to an end. As a gamer, I have never limited myself to a single RPG. So thought disappointed. I'd move on.
