What if Ariana Grande became a J-Pop star?

Somehow I knew she would get her own thread on this site. Don't get me wrong. I am a fan. But the thread title is kind of Odd.

The reason for that is nonetheless, related to my dream of Ariana singing in her music videos for these two songs I heard. on that dream too, she's under the Lantis label.

Yeah but you have to remember who started the thread.
Remembering when this thread's getting started, there's definitely no way on how to simply stop it even talking over it. :sly:

Back on topic: His dreams, not ours so let him do whatever the hell he wants until he's fed up.

I definitely agree:buttrock:

Even less if she has no Japanese heritage what so ever. :sly:

Japanese Pop > J-Pop > you dont have to be Japanese to be a J-pop singer.
Japanese as in Language, Pop as in genre. If you sing mainly japanese your a J-pop singer.
Seriously no one ever heard of Crystal Kay?

And yes being signed to a Japanese Record Company doesnt make you a J-pop singer, quick note avex is only the Japanese distributers.

Only on her dad's side. Her mom is Korean and Crystal was actually born in Yokohama. So even though she's not "ethnically" Japanese, she's basically been raised/living Japanese her whole life.

Wow, that's really cool. Yay interracial relationships. :buttrock:

I've seen her interviews and when she speaks English, Crystal doesn't have an accent. Quite a rarity for English-speaking celebrities. Never mind considering her heritage and stuff. :castlerock:
