What exactly was bad about Ohranger?

I just found the show to be mostly a bore with uninspiring characters and weak story, and I hated the Baranoia designs, though I did think Riki was the high point of the series. If you're interested, even after the change in tone, definitely give it a watch.

To be fair, there were a few good designs in the bunch. Shows like Kakuranger and Carranger produced far worse.

But I wonder if the designs had anything to do with the change in tone.

Nah......wasn't the tone, but I thought that Carranger was very well written with a lot of humor.

The only Toei show that had the worse production was.......KAMEN RIDER DEN-O!!!

I just caught the first episode of Ohranger, it seems pretty awesome to me.
Does it get worse as it goes on or something; because I hear Ohranger has a pretty bad rep

Considering it was the sentai that nearly killed the franchise and caused its slot to be moved from Fridays (?) at 5pm to Sundays at 7:30am, and that just everything about it sucked (I didn't like it and I hate Zeo so yeah show sucks) ...

... Everything sucks.

Ahhh I used to have that site bookmarked that had all the ratings for sentai and then its overall average... but the show was moved, I personally believe, due to low ratings. I mean, it dropped to the low 4%

Like around... if I can remember.... eps 27? 30? around there was when the change was made... probably later then that.
