It really should be left to the independent variable, which almost always (in some cases, yes, it isn't) is time. Someone's age is too dependent.

We're saying that if it brings back emotions or memories of past times, it is nostalgic to you. Nostalgia is to the person. Old school depends on how old it is in general more than how old it is compared to you.

In terms of the evolution of cinematography, animation techniques, voice actors, music, special effects, CGI, writing, arc planning, general audience perception, and just about everything that matters in terms of evaluating a series... yes. J-Decker, Changeman, Gundam 0079, Saint Seiya, and pretty much every series you grew up loving as a kid now qualifies under varying levels of "old." Or retro. Or nostalgic. Or whatever you want to call it.

i hate CGI sorry seiyū were better Hirano Aya cannot emote like Daijin and no matter how much people say wing is the best gundam but never even close ZZ is better than wing

and iv said Yuusha Franchise is Nostalgic for me

but calling J Decker Old is like calling Forrest Gump old or timeless stuff like Pom Poko old

Kumotochuribu the all the others listed are timeless ageless classics
