Books What book are you currently reading?

^ The lovely bones is indeed a good book! I enjoyed it very much. Its depiction of life after death is interesting. Reminds me of 'The five people you meet in heaven'.

Have you tried 'A walk to remember'?

I had started to read "Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep", and wow that's a weird book. I ended up stopping after a while though. Not because the book sucked or anything, I just sort of lost interest? I'll try and slog through it when I'm bored and don't have anything else to do. I'm considering rereading my Seven Realms books, but I can't really carry the huge volume with me, so I might try an get a rip of the ebook of it.

For you guys that are reading 'The fault in our stars" John green...not to be rude but the book is not entirely about her terminal disease...the point you should take from the book is that things happen..its part of life...people die, and that's just the way it is.
Also if you like that book by John Green then you might also like "Looking for Alaska" its also a really good read but sad as well.

I'm currently reading "Flowers in the Attic" its the story of 3 kids who live in the attic of a mansion waiting on their mother to win back her fathers love, so they can get his inheritance, but the mother lies to them the entire time...the father dies and she gets her inheritance, then she tries to kill them so she can be rich all on her own.
Their a second part to it, called "petals in the wind" However I haven't touched on it yet. I should in about a week though.

I'm reading The Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman. I started reading it last October, but didn't get the chance to finish due to a wedding, an unexpected trip, and school. Now that I have free time, I thought it was a good place to start. It's the first of a trilogy and after this series I want to read all of Jane Austin's books.

I'm reading "The Neverending Story" by Michael Ende. I'm still at the very beginning so I'm still not sure what it's really going to be about. But I've heard great things so I'm expecting great things. :D

I'm about halfway through Luanne Rice's What Matters Most. The parents who gave up their son decades ago found him, but their meeting didn't go as hoped. Soon their son will meet the love of his life he lost many years ago.

I'm so mad that I left my kindle charger at school because I really wanted to get a lot of reading done this break. I'm probably gonna go out and buy a paperback book of Paper Towns.

I just started Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. I live in Alaska and winters here can be pretty brutal so I decided to start reading the classics to pass the time. It's certainly depressing enough to put the gloominess of winter here in perspective!

Simple Prosperity, Finding Real in a Sustainable lifestyle. Its more of an informational read rather then entertainment. Love it so far. Really opens your eyes to the over load of consumerism.
