What Are the Most Essential Viewing Choices for the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

[Justin J]

As a huge Marvel fan, I've watched a bunch of the films, but I feel like I've missed some key pieces of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What would you say are the essential films and shows I absolutely need to see to fully appreciate the overall story and character arcs? I'm especially interested in anything that ties into the multiverse or upcoming phases!

The way you mentioned the multiverse makes me think of "Doctor Strange", that movie really sets up the cosmic weirdness and introduces some fantastic visuals. Plus, the fight scenes in that flick, especially the mirror dimension showdown, are just mind-blowing with all the practical effects!
