Watchmen (film) review, it ain't that good.

Well I've read the comic, I am a fan, and I get to go see it 5 days before the rest of America. I'm kinda excited about it.(thank you crazy free paper contest)
I hope it doesn't blow.

A few months back Wizard did an interview with Kevin Smith and he talked about how he got a sneak peek of the flick and he said the entire Dr Manhattan portion of the flick was word for word straight from the comic. So I have high hopes. We'll see...

Kevin Smith talked about how he saw it and loved it in his podcast a few months ago. I guess you can take that for what it is. He pretty much talked about how much he loved it for 45 minutes...

Please don't make this Spider-Man 3. I got really really down about it as sad as it sounds. Wesley's blog summed Spider-Man 3 up for me, I had waited for about 15 years for them to make Venom into a movie character and they royally fucked it up. I just hope that they are right and it's not bad. I don't think I could have my dreams shattered again.

FINNALY some one who agrees with me about Spider-Man 3. I am a huge Venom fan. I used to get all the Venom comics. I was really excited to hear about him in the 3rd movie, and then I saw the third movie....:redface2:

The first two spider-man movies were outstanding IMO. A good balance of Drama and action. Spider-Man 3 was just bland and boring IMO. Venom should have been the highlight, instead he was the biggest let down.

Dude... It's a shared pain only so many people know.

A little off topic stuff but if you ask me they shouldn't have killed off the Venom symbiotic like that, they could have went so many places with it for future franchise installments. And if you ask me Topher Grace would have made a pretty damn good Spidey (Not so sure about Parker though)

I think anyone who was actually a Spider-Man fan hated SM3, so you're definitely not alone. I was actually able to have a good time watching it in theaters since my friend and I were laughing our asses off throughout the entire thing at the many outrageous and unintentionally funny scenes. The crowd actually gave the movie applause at the end though. :nono:
