Wanting my hair to look like this...

:O_O: ...I expected to be incorrect.

lol It happens to the best of us man. And speaking of this Japanese hair thing, I actually had hair like Daiki from Decade, a while back. I'll show pictures if anyone wants to see. Emperor, now that you've talked about your hair, I want to see it, lol. You should totally show pictures man.

A few tips as well.

1) hair gel isn't so bad, but once it's in there is no restyling. Since most hair products can dry out your hair, you can make your own styling gel by boiling one cup of water with two table spoons of flax seed (the seeds themselves, not the oil. You can find some in any GNC). It'll last for about a week if kept in the fridge. If you don't wanna use gel, you can find recipes for most hair styling products online

2) Like anything else, you have to use discretion. You are not the guy in that picture, so you're going to have to speak to the stylist about what kind of style most fits your facial features and body type.

3) It is best to have either a flat comb for hairstyles like this. Most brushes seperate each strand of hair and that works against the clumps and spikes that you want.

4) In order to get body, there is a practice called back combing where with product and blow drier you brush against the grain of the hair, going from the ends up toward your scalp. This will give you the desired body, but it is very damaging to the hair. Exercise caution
