Ultraman Mebius

Well, after having finally finished (and thoroughly loved) Ultraman Nexus, I decided to just jump into another Ultra series. Only two episodes into Mebius and it definitely feels a lot more traditional and (dare I say?) standard. That being said, the miniature work and kaiju suits are incredible. Not going to lie either, the return to a monster-of-the-week format is oddly refreshing for me.

I enjoyed Mebius as well. Not only was it a good show it was also an anniversary series done right. It had some call backs to previous series, mainly the original Showa era, but they didn't feel force or take away from the story it was trying to tell.

Aah Mebius. I'd dipped into the franchise here and there before, but that was the first full Ultra series I completed and it's probably still the one I enjoyed the most. I think it's a great one for newbies too, as it does a great job of introducing past heroes for anyone not familiar with them.

Still the best Toku anniversary and one of the best crossover-type anniversary TV Series ever made.
Nuff said.
