Saw this on cnn not too long ago. This was seriously a stupid move. One could obviously see that the tree is extremely close to the house. And why is there only one person working on that project? Everything there just screams "accident". From what I heard though, that's actually that person's house, not a neighbor's...?

What a moron. You could immediately tell by the angle of the tree which way it was inclined to fall. You'd need some severely angled cuts *and* some friends equipped with block and tackle to get it to no fall toward the house. Cripes. Basic physics, anyone? :sly:
