On the day of April 16th, 2007 a mysterious wormhole connected to a distant world opened up above earth's atmosphere bringing a large ship of unknown origins through. The ship itself was obviously damaged and looked as if it had just come from a massive battle. The ship then fell into the atmosphere and before being torn apart on reentry a series of smaller escape ships were launched and landed around various parts of the world. The passengers of these escape ships were a race of mechanical beings known as thr Transformers, and each belonged to one of two factions, the heroic Autobots and the villainous Decepticons. As they had always done when coming to a new planet they scanned the vehicles of this world in order to keep their presence hidden while continuing their ongoing war from the eyes of humanity.
The crash has brought about a detrimental effect to both sides of a conflict though. In the crash many of the weaponry and powersources were destroyed, severly limiting the capabilities of both sides. But that all changed with the arrival of the transformer known as Vector Prime arrived to assist the Autobots by giving them ancient technology that hasnt been used in ages, the binary bonding technology. A technology that allowed a being to use a special device known as a "transector" which transfered their conciousness into a smaller transformer-like body and thus becoming a type of Transformer called a Linkmaster which posesses the ability to greatly enhance the abilities of the transformer which they are partnered with, thus they have become the key to this war. Not wanting to allow th Autobots to have such an edge, the Decepticons have also harnessed this technology and have began hunting down suitable humans and forcing them to become Linkmasters in order to give them more power.
Now the battle rages on, each side knowing that their only hope is the Linkmasters and how many each can recruit before the other side does.
Rules:
1. no godmoding or powerplaying without permission(with villains it can be allowed but only if I say so)
2. if you wont be able to post for a while have someone(not me) cover for you
3. no idiots
4. Bios for Linkmasters are required to join, but bios for the Transformer partners are optional.
5. pay attention to posts
6. No one rushes the plot thats a must
8. If you have a problem with someone, take it to the PMs and not here
9. If you have any questions ask me via PM or through some sort of instant messenger and not here
10. If you have a problem with someone else take it over the PMs or something, just dont argue here
11. Newbies, put in 200%. Veterans help out the newbies, that way the rpg will be more enjoyable for everyone
13. Dont join if your not on often we need active roleplayers
14. Everyone will play a Linkmaster and the Transformer they are partnered with

Bio: A mechanical genius , Ryo Raikage was well on his way to being what may possibly be the greatest mechanic in the country due to his skill with electronics and machinery. But everything changed with the arrival of the transformers, namely Vector Prime. While driving home from another day at the college he found himself right in the middle of a conflict between the Decepticons and he Autobots, and though he did his best to avoid the firing coming from both sides in the end his luck ran out and he fell prey to a cannon blast from megatron, resulting in the loss of his life at the hands of the Decepticons. It seemed like fate that Vector Prime arrived then and managed to hold off the decepticons with his specil abilities. Taking pity on the fallen human he gave the Autobots a demonstration of the binary bonding technology by using it to revive Ryo as a Linkmaster. Ryo reawakened and was suprised to find himself alive once again and surrounded by large transforming robots though he calmed down when everything was explained to him. Ryo then agreed to help the Autobots out of gratitude for saving his life and from a few schematics in Vector Primes memory he chose the form of a Cybertronian Starfighter for his Linkmaster form and took the name Safeguard.
Naturally he works with Vector Prime as his Linkmaster and doubles as a weapon and a potent power up when linked to him. He also helps out the transformers with repairs on them and the base that they have established. He keeps his identity as a Linkmaster a secret from most of his friends since he knows that secrecy is a high priority among the Autobots.

Linkmaster Function: A powerful wrist mounted gun and battery
history: Like the majority of Decepticon Linkmasters Sai was forcibly taken and was forced to undergo the binary bonding process and his Linkmaster form and name were chosen for him rather than by him like the majority of Autobot Linkmasters. Due to the apparently potent capabilities of his Linkmaster form Megatron himself chose him to be his new weapon. Apparently Megatron's ever manical and destructive tendencies have slowly been rubbing off on Sai and it seems like every time he links with Megatron he becomes more like Megatron.
Like Ryo, he serves as both a weapon and a powerup for Megatron, but instead of powering up Megatron's already impressive abilities he serves as an external power source for Megatron. Like all Decepticon Linkmasters he is treated as a weapon or tool rather than an ally.
