Transformers: Heroes

This is what I've found out so far...

2005 Veteran Kickback has come across some new information on the upcoming Transformers cartoon that contradicts what was previously released elsewhere as news.
- Animation studio NOT Gonzo ... rather it's Answer and Mook. Whether they're associated with Gonzo, no idea.
- Not "anime"
- Only TF related writer that's even submitted details/info is a guy who did some story editting on Beast Machines (ie: NO BEAST WARS WRITERS)
- Character design ... guy from Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes, Fosters...
- Director ... did work on Teen Titans, X-Men Evolution
- Cartoon Network is partner in the show, not just the airing network

The overall look is brand new ... like nothing seen before in Transformers. It will not look like the Amarda/Energon/Cybertron trilogy.

This has me worried because the toylines that are currently out and being supported really are the Classics, the Alternators and the Movie toys and this new show will doubtless have it's own toy line..

Cool news. I have already been watching Transformers Generation 1 on my computer (on season 3 now, watched the movie before starting season 3...thats the rule lol). Haven't seen that cartoon in a long time.

currently downloading the Beast Wars seasons and Beast Machines (already seen them before but didn't watch much of Beast Machines though )after that and willl be downloading Armada, Energon and Cybertron (already have Robots in Disquise on my PC)....I have not seen RiD, Armada, Energon and Cybertron. I know they are on YTV, just never got to watching them during those years lol

It'll be interesting to see a new Western TF series, since the last four have been Japanese (RID, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron). I personally hope the designs get a bit of a throwback to Gen 1, but I'll give it a shot however it turns out.

Transformers Beast Wars is the pinnacle of Transformer achievement.

That and the 80's animated movie.

I like Robots in Disguise more then BW because RiD felt more like an old school TF series then BW did. It had the combiners, the mindless, moronic humor, the annoying human kids. Aside from the ending which is very japanese, it was very well done.

- Not "anime"

Thank god.

- Character design ... guy from Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes, Fosters...

****... I hated the TT character designs. And I hated it's direction too. But hopefully this turns out good.

Thank god.
You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Transformers Head Masters, Transformers Master Force, Transformers Victory, Carrobots, Transformers Micron Densetsu, Transformers Super Link and Transformers Galaxy Force were all, in spirit, close to the original.
