transferring toku to dvds

ok so i want to transfer my old kamen rider(decade to ooo) and gokaigers to either dvds or usb so i can watch them without using my laptop and to clear up space on my laptop too i asked one of my friends if i should do it but he said no cause of the sopa and pipa stuff but what do you all say should i or shoulndt i?

For personal use, it's okay.Just don't distribute it.

It's not like the government barges into your house and looks for Kamen Rider DVDs.

If it is for personal use then you are fine but when you give it to other people, like creating a torrent file for other to torrent with the Seeds and Leechers then SOPA and its related crap from the government will go all over your ass

yaa....don't have to worry about that cause i don't know how to do any of that lol and plus if i do put them on dvd i'm not gonna lend them out cause i'm the only fan in my town and if i do get a friend interested in them they can just watch it with me

I am now wondering so is it illegal for people in Hong Kong to sell Japanese Toku on DVD with their shitty self made subtitle?
