The shows is pretty entertaining. Like someone earlier said it is like a spoof of Lost(my favorite tv show) and Surreal Life. It provides some good laughs and is one of the better shows on Cartoon Network. I believe this show is made by the same people that made 6Teen, which is another funny show. I hope both these shows extend to a longer period of time, without losing the charm they have now.:thumbs:

6teen has a new season in the works. (For some reason, CN still hasn't run the first few episodes.) There's also a live-action movie in the works, and filming has probably begun by now.

Nelvana produced 6teen (and the same animators would also make Grossology), but the show's creators (Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch) indeed created Total Drama Island at their own studio, Fresh TV.

I don't know about the exact details of the live-action movie (which I now hear is a TV movie). Canadian studios are really good at keeping things top secret!

Oh, and I almost forgot. For those who are new to watching the show or who have already seen the show, I have manage to come across the link. It's a TDI Edit Thread that listed out all of the crappy censors and goof-ups made by CN.

In the Canadian version of Courtney's "audition", she cursed (and was censored, of course)! CN omitted this completely.

If it's not prime-time or Adult Swim, cartoons remotely intended for children are not even allowed to have any censored swearing in it. The "banned" episode of Dexter's Laboratory, "Dexter's Rude Removal," has still not been seen on TV, and is only seen at conventions and in private.

The only exception I know of is an episode of Tiny Toon Adventures. Maybe it became a controversial episode?
