Total Drama Island - Talkback

Must admit that when I had first started watching this show question Cartoon Networks judgement airing it. Not because the creators/producers taken the whole survivor concept and give birth to an animated spin-off, but rather the more mature retrospects (i.e Owen's lower region pixel censored) shown early in the day for younger viewers. I know it is rated accordingly, but we all know how well most even paid much attention to that. I just imagined that it would be shown like on AS (Adult Swim).

After continuing to watch this show more over the past few weeks had shrugged that notion off. I was estatic when Eva was voted off (twice), because that girl was straight up psycho b***h. Forgive me if I got them mixed up at the time they were voted off, but am rather somewhat surprised that we're slowly seeing another side of Izzy, which could explain her being a little mentally insane. I was sad to see that Courtney was voted off next, no thanks to Harold's tampering with the vote box. Harold was funny, but that was very low. There are other ways that he could had payback, but instead took the deep shot Duncan's love life. I was quite happy when they voted of Ezekiel, that guy was such....A PIG! Guys are better in sport then girls?! Gah! That really pisses me off. They have created Heather to portray the antagontist (sp) very well to make everyone despise her well. Personally I hope that she DOES NOT make it to the final two. If that does come to pass, I will be jumping on my bed screaming.

Here are the ones that I would most likely to see win:

DJ
Leshawna
Gwen
Bridgette
Duncan

Ones that I would like to see return (now that we know it was a lie, and previous cast offs could be brought back by popular demand)

Courtney (yeah, she was a little high strung, but you gotta love the Courtney and Duncan moment)

Considering that TDI and Chowder are the only shows on CN that I watch anymore outside of Adult Swim. Any opinions on a Battle Royale/TDI x-over?

Wondering if a TDI with the music theme of BR, or vice versa...

(Wondering how to superimpose the collars on the TDI characters)

hmmm....

Shogo Kawada - Duncan
Mitsuko Souma - Heather
Hiroki Sugimura - DJ
Shuya Nanahara - Trent
Kazushi Niida - Ezekiel
Toshinori Oda - Noah
Yoshimi Yahagi - Lindsay
Yoji Kuramoto - Tyler
Takako Chigusa - Gwen
Yumiko Kusaka & Yukiko Kitano - Katie & Sadie
Hirono Shimizu - Izzy

The famous light house scene...
Yukie Utsumi - Courtney
Yuka Nakagawa - Leshawna
Satomi Noda - Eva
Haruka Tanizawa - Bridgette
Yuko Sakaki - Beth

Irony...
Shinji Mimura - Geoff
...with...
Yutaka Seto - Cody
Keita Iijima - Harold

running out of TDI "22" with BR "42"

So all I could choose to be the crazy, fan-girl bait, stone-cold quiet killer?
Kazuo Kiriyama - Justin

Hey, what else could Duncan do. I mean that was like an act of bravery. Two of my friends were fans of Harold and they were glad that she was gone.
Technically, Duncan pushed him too far I mean hello, he's a bully.
Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly. You know that old chestnut.
But yeah, I sure wish she was still in the game.

To be honest with you, I never expected there would be a lot of Hate on for Heather. Well, there goes to show you what goes around comes around and it's called, Bad Karma.

Just wait until Lindsay gets the boot and then she'll be sorry. It took Beth to realize that being in an Alliance with the "Mean" girl and making it to the bottom three with just isn't worth the cost, but I took Lindsay almost the entire season to figure out who she's actually dealing with. That's just sad.

Well, Lindsay got the boot last night. But at least she finally told Heather off before she left.

This is more than likely the last nail in Heather's coffin, because now she has no one to push around and manipulate since everyone else is onto her.

Yeah, but in the Canadian version, She called Heather a Lying, Two-faced, Backstabbing, little Bitch.

Where as in the US Version, she said, "No Good, Something, something, Mousey, Mean Girl" I think.:confused2

But still, it wouldn't hurt if Cartoon Network kept that part in.

Anyways, it's quite ironic though. All this time Heather had been wanting to keep Beth and Lindsay with in the final three, but now from the looks of it she's basically an easy target for everyone else now that her little "pawns" are gone. It's all her fault. Both Lindsay and Beth were basically Heather's Achille's Heal and now she's all alone with no one else to push around. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Shameful.:nono:

It would hurt. If it was adult swim, then Bitch is ok. But its still a curse word and not universally acceptable yet in most childrens cartoons.

Still, I KNEW they had edited it. I mean, the reactions and everything. I could tell she had to have originally said "bitch". lol. xD I wanna find the canadian version

What better way to start the month of Halloween then with a very funny episode of T.D.I

This week, our campers are forced to tangle with an escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook for a hand.

Classic.

The killer's prime targets:
-The stupid fat guy (Owen)-for bailing on his girl to die in front of the killer.
-The wilderness nut job (Izzy)
-The bitchy meangirl (Heather)-because she didn't pay any attention to the rules of surviving a horror movie.:nono:
-The partyholic (Geoff)-for bailing on the black guy because of the ice cream truck
-The black girl (Leshawna)-the first to face the killer and ran right after picking up some brownies
-The Juvenile (Duncan)-the second to face the killer @ the Dock of Shame

The winner: The Goth Girl (Gwen-the only one who actually confronted the REAL killer and lived to tell about it.

The loser: The lovable, nature-loving, sensitive black guy (DJ)
*reasons: Heather's hairy legs and facial mask scare the pants outta him before the killer showed up.

Definitely a animated spoof of Friday the 13th meets reality tv.

Hence the "Chi, chi, chi, ha, ha, ha, ha" background.

I definitely laughed when DJ ran across the island because of Heather's hairy legs. What a weenie.:rofl2::rofl:
