1. He has no talent
2. He's a terrible actor
3. Jet Li's 'wire-fu' movies have been some of the most awful dreck ever forced on the American movie going public.

Now, most of Jet Li's films are great. The only ones i didnt like were 'Romeo must Die', Cradle to the Grave, The One, and that's it. Unleashed was an amazing film, and Li i think has redeemed himself from his earlier mistakes. However, the fact that Jaa can do what he does WITHOUT WIRES brings to his films a purity and truth that Li's American films lack.
HEY!!! I LIKE The One!!! :disappoin

OK, ive watched this movie three times in the last day. What do you guys think? And why the hell didnt they release this movie in the US instead of Ong Bak?

Because it takes them a while to get the distribution rights, and Tom Yum Goong is newer than Ong Bak.

Pretty good, but I felt Ong Bak was slightly better.

Ong Bak had more traditionally hard Thai fight choreography that reminded me a lot of Panna Rittikrai's older films like Gerd Ma Liu, but based on sheer energy and jaw-dropping athleticism (as well as accurate Muay Thai portrayal), Tom Yum Goong takes it.

ong bak was retched. Whats that guys name who is supposed to be better than jet li/

Ong Bak wasn't wretched. I don't think you've even seen it.

How many Thai movies have you seen? Ong Bak was like a damn miracle. Sure the fights weren't as up to par as the 80's stuff, but still. It's much better than the normal bland cinema pieces from the Thai.

Even so, I prefer Tom Yum Goong. It's not nearly as serious as Ong Bak was, but the stunts are so incredible that if you complain about the plot or something you deserve to be shot.
