Toku that have made you feel good about yourself

I must give props to Arakawa for what he did with all the characters in Kuuga. Even beyond Godai, we had amazing little episodes with Oya-san, Nana, Ichijou and his mom, Tsubaki and Chono, Enokida and her son, Kanzaki etc. I feel like all those characters illustrated very human problems and throughout Kuuga there were just many life lessons that we could all take from.

I also like Hibiki's little nuggets of wisdom.

Timeranger's whole 'Fighting for Tomorrow' is really applicable to me right now. Free Will vs Destiny and all that. Every time Tatsuya told everyone that the future wasn't set in stone and that we had the power to choose our destiny was really great.

Ultraman: In one particular episode taught me to not feel sorry for myself and to keep going no matter what.

Lionmaru G: My 1st completed series, I loved the shows humor and I could relate with Shishimaru .

Kamen Rider Den-O: Ryotaro actually cared about the feelings of the people he was saving more than he was concerned with battling the Imagin. I found that very cool.

Kamen Rider Kuuga: Godai Yusuke is a very kind and warm yet strong soul, the kind of human I strive to be like.

GARO and GARO Makai Senki: Horrors are good examples of letting darkness consume you, and it was very cool to see a shining golden hero crush that darkness. Also the love between Kouga and Kaoru is one of the sweetest things.

Tokkuso Sentai Dekaranger: This show is just fun, and the characters are awesome.

Mahou Sentai Magiranger: The themes of courage and family really touched my soul on a regular basis while watching it.

Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger: This show is inspirational as ****. It showed me many times to never give up.

Kamen Rider W: Friendship, Family, Forgiveness, and Courage. This show was amazing and made me feel for the characters.

Kamen Rider OOO: Hino Eiji is one of the most selfless and human super heroes I have seen.

Kamen Rider Fourze: Friendship and good times!

GARO? "Feel-good?"

Hate to admit it, but I am loving Fourze. It's just a feel good, friendship-is-a-wonderful-thing show. :anime:

Yes! I love it for exactly that reason.

Timeranger always makes me happy just because it's my favourite ever tokusatsu series. I'm not really sure why it is, but it always brings a smile to my face.

Magiranger.

I will ALWAYS call bullshit on the mentality of "light-hearted funny < grimdark srs" when it comes to any show. I dont dislike Goseiger because it wasnt grimdark, it's because the characters are losers and the story blows ass. I dont like GARO because it's not goofy, it's because the story is epic and the characters are very likeable.

That said, I really dig the cast of Magi. They feel like a fun, loving, and tight-knit family. And I honestly watch the show to see their relationship dynamics over the plot (which I do like a lot too).

Mahou Sentai Magiranger: The themes of courage and family really touched my soul on a regular basis while watching it.

YES! This! I totally forgot about MagiRanger. That was also a great feel-good show.

As for Goseiger, it was... okay. They did enough with the guardian angel aspect. They could have done more, and you don't walk away from it feeling good nor will it be one of the more memorable titles, but it did enough. Not really that much of a feel-good title, but it did what it needed to do, I guess.
