Lurker
can you buy toku dvds in the usa im going next feb and my parents
say i might be able to buy sum :buttrock:

p.s. can someone upload pics of a agitos forms

Nope. Region encoding prevents DVDs outside your region from being played on your DVD player. Besides Legal DVDs from Japan rarely have subtitles in English and are twice as exspensive than US DVDs.

Unless you have a Region Free DVD Player!!

And Rambo, good to know your parents are letting you watch Toku!!

Actually, certain movies have been released domestically, depending on your tastes. The two I know of specifically, since I own them, are Mechanical Violator Hakaider (very violent), and Ultraman Gaia: The Battle in Hyperspace. I also know they released another Ultraman movie, I believe it was from the series Ultraman Dyna, and of course the first half of the original Ultraman series (a must-buy, in my opinion). Other than that I'm not sure. And remember, they're all gonna be Region 1, so you'll need a DVD player that can do Region 1 :anime:

EDIT: And good luck, I was lucky to find the two I have, and could never find Ultraman Dyna.

Well, there have been some toku DVD's released officially in the US. Kamen Rider V3 and some of the Godzilla movies come to mind. Depends whether you're interested in those or not.
Otherwise you could order some through stores like CD Japan or Amazon Japan.

My DVD player is hacked and I can play legit R2 DVDs (and get the subs to work, when they're available) just fine. :anime:
