People have been posting their review and thoughts of the subbed episodes in the raw discussion forum and the Subbed discussion forums get no posts at all and it is starting to confuse me to the point of pissing me off.

There is no "raw discussion" forum. There's the episodes to discuss... or just the subbed episodes.

When it comes to Decade, TVN and Zeronos have been on top of it week to week, so there's no reason to not just post in the regular forum. If it gets to a point where they fall so behind, then yeah... one would post elsewhere.

We mad the distinguishment cuz RAW folk kept dropping big ass spoilers for Kabuto and people who hadn't seen it yet, like me, were finding out the fates of characters before they seen it or wanted to know.

The entire download/fansub forum is a mess anyway. I don't see why no one has ever bothered to clean it up and streamline it so it makes sense. We still have two forums for pretty much the exact same things.

You are referring to the one time you got all pissy because someone posted a scan of Kagami as Gatack. That's the sole reason the "fansub talkback" threads and related stuff exist. If it hadn't happened to you, nothing probably would have ever been done.

Otherwise, the general attitude around here has always seemed to be "I don't see the point" and "Tell me why I should care."

"HJU Episode Updates & Download Database" and "Fansubbed Justice" are pretty much the exact same forums. Go look at the actual threads. It's mostly just postings about new fansub releases. Does it really have to be done twice?

And it doesn't really matter what you meant one forum or another to be. At this point it's just redundant. It would be one thing if the Episode Updates forum included stuff for other shows (Power Rangers, etc) but it doesn't. It's just all toku fansubs with the occasional J-Drama or something thrown in.

Combine the two, and just lump it all together.

If it hadn't happened to me and it happened to someone else who was equally upset, the same thing would have been done.

And since it's my place.... yeah, you need to tell me the point of a change and why it needs to be done.

Nah... some sub groups deserve a proper spotlight and place to discuss their works and shows. Mixing it wth the DL Database would muddy things up.

I do agree it does get kinda messy in there. Because the fansub forum was inside the download forum, some threads were going a miss because barely anyone posts in the fansub forum. Become kinda confusing of what went where.

Why not just change the Fansub forum to the Fansub talk and download forum, then have the RAW download forum not branched within it. Fansub groups can talk and post their releases in one forum, RAWs providers can use the other. Seems like the best bet.
