Thinking about setting up a CafePress store

I'm thinking of setting up a little business via "CafePress" where you can sell your own merchandise like T-shirts, posters, hoodies, mousemats and mugs but with various forms of art and slogans on them...

Mine would have various slogans to do with being proud to be a Otaku...

The best thing is that I don't have to pay any money up front as everything is taken care of by CafePress...

I'd be setting everything up with this store when I get my computer up and running again [I'm still waiting to get my old hard drive back off my friend which he's repairing along with my new hard drive which he's copying the data from the old hard drive to...] and you guys will be amongst the first to know when it's open.

In any case, what sort of items would you buy from the store if you were interested in doing so [and my prices would be fairly reasonable as well...]

well since it's otaku oriented and "hooters" is already taken, what about.....melons? the japanese love ripe melons, and infatuated with big boobs so much they refer to them as melons in anime as comedy. it's iconic, if you will


and as for borgman jayce, how about this for a t-shirt:

"**** happens when you party with your morpher." and have like a picture of a guy about to henshin with sentai henchman busting down the door in the middle of a crowded party.

As for the store name, it's going to be called "Otaku no Kami" ["God of Otaku"] and I'm thinking of also doing T-Shirts and hoodies with the name "Otaku no Kami" for the guys and "Otaku no Megami" for the girls on them.

I've even come up with two mascots... A sexy, busty Strawberry Blonde bispectacled Otaku Girl... [I haven't come up with a name for her yet but I can give you a clue that she's half-Japanese...] and I'll definitely be using her for merchandise purposes along with a male mascot for the "Otaku no Kami" T-Shirts and related stuff... I'm even looking at contacting a few of my deviant faves on DeviantArt that do manga-style art to see how much they charge and ask one of them to do artwork that I can use for the store.

Would you guys be interested in stickers and bumper stickers as well?

I want a cut! Just kidding.

You may also want to try zazzle.com to or see if there's a place that can do other colors besides white or gray. If you're going with henshin that would be awesome because so often I see these shirts with kanji or whatever on them and they look nice but the words could be just about anything. With henshin it's something I know and since the nature of the word is about transformation the meaning could be a singular or universal as you'd want it to be.

mattcomics, I've checked Zazzle and it's not bad altho they'd probably chuck me off the site as a couple of the slogans that I want to have done as T-shirts are:

"Henshin Heroes are better than everyone else..." [in life and in bed!] and "Henshin Heroines are better than everyone else..." [in life and in bed!]

and they don't allow stuff like profanity or anything of a sexual nature in their stores...

Other slogans I've come up with are:
"There ain't no Hero like a Henshin Hero!" [and of course, a female version!]
"The Few, The Proud, The Hentai!" [and a Ecchi counterpart]

I'm even thinking of doing a line of "I [heartshape] [type of Otaku]" stuff like "I love Yaoi", "I love Fanservice", "I love Yuri", etc.

I was thinking of doing a "Will Yaoi for Pocky" T-shirt until I realised I may get my ass sued by Glico for using the Pocky name!:redface2:

Meanwhile, I'm trying to come up with a "Hentai Ten Commandments" for use as a T-shirt design...
