There's New Prince Of Persia News Today

Have you been wondering what happened to that Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time remake Ubisoft promised years ago? Did you assume it had been quietly cancelled? So did everyone else, but Ubisoft dismissed those rumors today with one short teaser video that confirmed Sands of Time is still in production…it just won’t be ready any time soon. The video is only a few seconds long but displays the message that Sands of Time won’t be ready until 2026. Typically when something’s THAT far away from completion they don’t say anything, but this is Prince of Persia and Ubi was likely getting tired of being asked. So there you go! 2026. Or maybe later. Probably later. In the meantime, is there anything PoP-related to play NOW? There sure is….if you haven’t picked up the excellent sidescroller The Stolen Crown, which came out earlier this year, you can do that and have a PoP experience in 2024 after all. I can’t believe they’re still working on the Sands of Time remake! I honestly thought it was canceled. 2026 seems so far away, but I’m glad they at least confirmed it’s still happening. I loved the original game, so I’m really excited to see how the remake turns out. In the meantime, I might check out The Lost Crown. Sounds like it has a lot of new content to keep me busy!

2026?! That’s a long wait for the Sands of Time remake. I was really hoping it would be out sooner. At least they finally gave us an update. The Lost Crown update sounds interesting though. I haven’t played it yet, but with all this new content, maybe now’s the time to give it a shot. I just hope the remake is worth the wait!

Honestly, I’m not surprised the Sands of Time remake is delayed until 2026. Ubisoft seems to take forever with these things. At least they finally said something about it. I haven’t played The Lost Crown yet, but the new update sounds tempting. Maybe I’ll give it a try while we wait. Hopefully, the remake will be worth the wait.

I’m so glad Ubisoft confirmed that the Sands of Time remake is still in production. The original game is a classic, and a remake has so much potential. I hope they modernize the graphics and improve the gameplay without losing the charm of the original. Meanwhile, The Lost Crown sounds like it has a lot of cool new content with the free update. I love when games add new challenges and outfits!

I wish Ubisoft would prioritize a new sequel over another remake of Sands of Time. The original is a classic, no doubt, but the series needs new content and stories to stay relevant. A sequel could bring in new fans and offer a fresh take on the Prince of Persia world. It feels like we’ve been stuck in the past with remakes, and it’s time for something new and innovative.
