The Underworld Movies

I liked all the Underworld movies.

The only one I watched was the first one, and I stopped watching about 20 minutes into it. I don't know, there was just something about it that wasn't holding my attention. That, and I couldn't believe how absurdly BLUE it was. If you have to agree with me on one thing, it was that it was just, so... BLUE! :sly:

Also, they were sued by white wolf over this story, though why I don't know. White Wolf does not own the rights to a vampire/werewolf struggle.

Yes but Whitewolf had a planned licensed videogame that was going to compete with the Underworld video game tie-in so they thought to squash out the competition via lawsuit.

I thought Underworld 1 was great even if I absolutely fucking hated the design for the werewolves. They look like Gozer's slimy demon dogs -ugliest werewolves ever!

Underworld 2 looked better but as others have said, is otherwise weaker than the first one. Such is the way of most sequels.

I felt U2 was better than the first and a proper escalation of the story. Seeing them back to back was like watching one mega movie.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed that the 3rd will be a prequel... that kills a lot of my interested, but it's written by the same screenwriter, so I'll give it a shot.

Wish this would be a TV show as I felt the world that was built was a lot of fun and pretty interesting.

evolution was definitely better than the original, though I'm not exactly sure that a sequel to evolution is necessary since there really isn't much that can be done after the events of evolution
