The Thread of D.I.Y

So recently I have been making alot of random things just out of bordem and I wanted to share them. I also wanted to start a thread so other people can share their crafty side.

I made a bunch of bowls out of these

Yupp records. Don't worry I saved the good ones for my collection. I only used the crappy ones.

I plan on adding more decorations to them soon, I just need to get a few more supplies.

I made smaller ones out of 45's for little candy dishes or ashtrays. I plan on giving them to friends and maybe even selling a few.

Today I sat down and made this little creation...



A Hoodie Scarf. Its quite warm. I used some furry lepoard print fabrics and a fuzzy lining for the inside. I have some fleece I am going to make another one out of and see how that fairs.

I also take large shirts and turn them into smaller shirts. I have one I plan on working on tomorrow and a few mroe I have already done so maybe I will post those next.

Those bowls are nice. My sister makes bracelets from vinyl records. They're rather nifty. Don't have pics to share though.

I only really do my customs figures atm, but they aren't really useful outside of my personal amusement.:sweat:

Not bad. i recognize the graphics. their from a Mobile Suit Gundam site that i useta go to all the time. any chance you have them?

They were alot easier then MAHQ's lineart plus I wasn't exactly an expert with photshop. The editing I did over MS Paint, and I just recolored it using Adobe Image ready.

last night I took an old power rangers mototcycle I had and chipped off all the paint and stickers. I also took of the head and wings of it so it would look more like a chopper. I'm probally gonna paint it soon, so my figures will have a ride.

Nice! Can't say I am a big Gundam fan but I like the work you did. I used to sell the kits and such at my old job so I a fairly familar with them.
