Watchmen fans are going to be all WTF when they see the Squid is gone. Hell even people that read Watchmen when it first came out in '85 when Ozymandias won.

I thought it was kind of weird that they didn't use the actual quote "Who watches the watchmen?" I guess they had to make it more movie trailer friendly or something.

Oh and funniest part of the trailer is in one of the shots of the riot. You can see a person holding up an effigy of a hanged Superman. Must be a Marvel fan.

Thats exactly what Snyder stated, which I agree with, although many fans wont. Especially Alan Moore but we knew that already
