The Simpsons goes HD and gets a new Opening

Why are people so freaking OBSESSED with having **** in HD? God that bugs me...

Well, with live action series I can understand....but with Cartoons like the simpsons?

Like I said in my post, I noticed no difference between this and how the series usually is.

Um... There was a huge difference. Wider screen size and better quality of animation.

I like the new opening theme (watched the clip at The Simpsons Channel site)...I have recorded the episode though, have yet to watch it
