The Official Batman Begins Discussion

Pee-wee's Big Adventure.

Well, it was kind of a dark movie. At least, from a little kid's point of view. There were a couple of scenes that freaked me out, just because I was 2 or 3 and I watched it on VHS a lot.

Remember that scene where his bike is getting operated on by those devil surgeons, and that evil music is playing in the background? That TERRIFIED me as a child.

Yeah! That's pretty demented when you're a kid, still pretty twisted even now.

I didn't see it, but would the remake of "Planet of the Apes" be considered dark?

I don't really think so. The only dark aspect of it is that Marky Mark is making movies and Hollyweird people find that acceptable.

I only liked Giamatti and Tagawa in that movie. The rest can be flushed.

And I don't think the new Wonka flick is going to be that dark, either.

Saw it on friday, that movie simply kicks ass. I have no clue how anyone can hate this movie. One of the best Batman movies I've seen since TimBurtons Batman films. What I liked about this movie was the fact that this movie was mainly about Bruce and why he became the Dark Knight. The story was told perfectly. I enjoyed this movie a lot more then the premiere of both Spiderman movies combined...

The only gripe I have about this movie was right at the end where Gordon showed Jokers calling card to batman, which batman by the way, wasn't anywhere close to Joker. Since this movie hit most of batmans history, and knowing that batman wasn't involved with jokers debute, really bumms me out. Although, Im pretty sure, when a sequal to this movie comes out, they'll be redoing Jokers story line. I also have confidence that they'll keep Jokers spirit very much alive in the sequal. That is if Joker does appear in the sequal, or if their is any sequal for that matter

If Joker is in the second flick, I also want Harley Quin in there too! And she has to be calling him "Puddin"!! :D

Just watched it today. And yes, its a great movie! Love every moment of it. Bale makes a great Batman. A menacing Batman, scaring the **** out of every Gotham civilians.
And this Alfred Pennyworth is a good one!
That huge Batmobile, or tank there, lol, is one killer machine. Makes a great vehicle for a vigilante.
However, I still prefer Keaton's mobile to Bale's disastrous car. My idea of a Batmobile is a car thats not only sleek, its able to dash through the streets of Gotham almost silently and compact enough to escape any traps, not crashing through every walls and road blocks. Still, the car looks great, especially flying across the rooftops.

Last few moments of the show was just great. Gordon driving the car. lol.

Jokes/comedy is fine too.

Gordon (seeing the car for the first time): I got to get myself one of those.
