Hm............ nice commercial. And I'm series. The DSi meant **** and damn to me all the way up to this point, but..... wow. That's one spiffy device and for very a reasonable price to boot.

SD card support? Strange... Nintendo's usually so careful of this kind of thing. Wouldn't this break open the hackability of the DS crazy wide open like what happened with the PSP?

Ah, that was the Europe trailer (because it said April 3rd). Much better than the American trailer where they just take pictures of each other the whole time and then at one point go "Oh yeah, and the thing can play games too..."

I hope they keep cranking out the software on DS still even with all this new stuff now.

Meh, I'm still not too bothered about this, seeing as how my old DS Still works great, and I already own a camera and an ipod. I don't really like that lens hanging off at the corner of the DSi

This really bothers me to be honest. Why does a gaming system need all that stuff? It feels like I'm buying a new version of the iPod Touch or something if I get this. It seems more like a camera/mp3 player than a gaming system. That's great how they threw in at the end about not forgetting about the vast library of games or whatever.

I still haven't played many DS games that made good use of the touch screen. It doesn't seem like they care to work on that. They just want to come up with more ways to market it instead. I've lost so much faith in Nintendo with how the Wii went. With the Wii, we got a ton of "casual games." With this DSi there are going to be people who buy the system and maybe ever own a few games for it in their entire life. They just buy it for the extra stuff so they can be trendy and show everyone they have one.

Unless what I heard about eventually there being games that will only play on the DSi is true, I won't ever bother with one of these. I didn't research the DSi too much, since as you can tell, I am not to thrilled about it. I did hear someone mentioning that it was supposed to have new hardware or something like that, which will allow them to make games that weren't possible on the original DS and DS Lite. Obviously if we get specifically DSi only games, I'll have to cave in at some point. Especially because of my obsession with Pokemon.
