If a guy wants to make a manga bible than more power to him. He's free to follow his beliefs and do as he pleases. I don't see how there is any humour in the matter what-so-ever. I imagine nobody would be laughing if it was a manga version of the scriptures of Bhudda or the Qur'an.

Sounds interesting, but I also recall many attempts at making Christian manga that were pretty bad. I'll look into this one, though.

I don't see anyone making fun of this in some vicious manner. I think you are jumping to conclusions.

If the guy wants to re-tell these stories, more power to him.

I wasn't insulted or anything... it's more like setting a boundry. Threads like this can descend into petty insults pretty quickly. I don't like seeing any religions being made fun of. So I was just making my position clear. Everything is cool. :thumbs:


I pulled some scans of sections of this book off 4chan and I thought it was pretty neat. He seemed to portray the suffering of Christ pretty brutally. If I ever see a copy sitting around I might buy it just to read the whole thing once.
