Best Graphic Novels that Explore Identity and Self-Discovery

I've been getting into graphic novels lately and am particularly drawn to stories that explore themes of identity and self-discovery. I've enjoyed works like "Fun Home" by Alison Bechdel and "American Born Chinese" by Gene Luen Yang. Can anyone recommend other graphic novels that tackle these themes in a meaningful way?

You should definitely check out "Persepolis" by Marjane Satrapi! It's such a powerful exploration of identity and growing up amidst cultural upheaval, plus it combines personal narrative with historical context in a really gripping way.
