The powers of almighty SCIENCE have been hitched to the dark plough of curiosity, and Vitaly Komar, Alex Melamid and David Soldier have rendered unto the world A Scientific Attempt To Create Most Annoying Song Ever.
Apparently "really long songs" is on the list of annoying things, because this festival of auditory brutality slashes and burns its way through your brain for an excruciating 22 minutes.
I triple dog dare you to listen to the whole song at normal volume.
Despite how unbelievably annoying the song is, I find myself constantly laughing at how over the top the creators went to find things that grate against the human soul. An off-key kids choir singing about holidays. An opera soprano alternating between rap and country music as a method to convey jingoistic ideals. Synth-Bossa Nova. Someone yelling into a megaphone. It's just... wow. You've got to experience it to believe it.
