The Instruction Manual and You

I was in an EB Games today, and I was buying a preowned game, one that didn't come with the manual. I was about to pay for it, when the cashier said "It doen't have the manual" My respose was "That's okay, I'll just figure it out for myself" And he responded with "No body uses the manual"

So, out of curiosity dose anyone actually look over the manual when they get a new game?

Only if i'm really stuck on something. Usually the game teaches you how to do stuff in the first couple of levels any way, if it doesn't have a training mode.

Yes, I always read the instruction manual. I don't like jumping into games head first.

Mortal Kombat taught me this the hard way.......

I ALWAYS look at the game manual. I like to know what's what when I get into a game.

My roomate never does, and sometimes misses valuable information that way...and then always ends up asking me, " What's that? What's that? How do you?"

I always read the manual at least once before starting the game. After I start the game, I might get the manual next to me if I need to look something up that I can't figure out in game (like how to do something special that isn't explained in game). I might re-read the manual if I get bored since I enjoy reading most manuals.
